Day 70...

This little cutie refuses to let her mommy put sweet little bows in her hair, the kind that come in a rainbow of colors to match any and every outfit, even though her mommy has just been waiting for the chance. The only thing she'll tolerate, besides her "wild woman" look, is this "Pebbles" look...

My friend, Megan, got it right when she commented on yesterday's blog, "She knows what she wants!", and she definitely knows what she does not want! :)

Day 69...

Gracie received a very important phone call this afternoon! She was chatting away, until the phone call apparently ended and she threw the phone into the floor. :)

Day 68...

Exploring with Papaw on a beautiful Sunday afternoon!

Gracie actually dragged this tree limb over to Papaw!

They found a stinkbug crawling on the playground equipment and Gracie kept looking for it after it had flown away. Where did he go, Gracie?

Dad and Janice with Gracie. Where are her pants, you ask? Well, let's just say there was a little accident and Mommy was not prepared with an extra pair! But, we won't let a lack of pants ruin our afternoon at the park! :)

Day 67...

We took Gracie to a Fall Festival this afternoon, but our thoughts were with our loved ones who are hurting right now...

Gracie did enjoy the festival, even though she is still too small for any of the inflatable slides or games. A sweet little girl did allow me to play the "Bean Bag Toss" for Gracie, and even though I didn't really win, she gave me a prize for Gracie anyway. :)

Day 65...

Today, I am posting this blog in honor of my niece, Kaylee. My heart is broken for her Mommy and Daddy, and for their families during this difficult time. Kaylee was due in November, but God was ready to hold her in His arms. She is now a beautiful angel in Heaven. Please keep this precious couple (my step-sister and brother-in-law) in your thoughts and prayers. Their strong faith, hope, and love for each other has been a true inspiration.
